Elizabeth Hart Morris, CDT, GRP
Elizabeth Hart Morris is the President of GreenUp LLC, a woman-owned small business based in Portland, Oregon. For 10 years Elizabeth has been changing the “nature” of commercial roofing, through green roof project management, program development, education, municipal advocacy and nonprofit work. She thrives on bringing together diverse teams in this highly interdisciplinary field, collaborating to further the implementation and quality of green roofing across North America. Elizabeth frequently publishes articles, speaks at conferences, and has taught over 100 continuing education courses on sustainable roofing topics. In addition, Elizabeth is the President of the Green Roof Think-tank (GRiT), a non-profit organization dedicated to growing the knowledge and use of green roofs in the Pacific Northwest. She also serves as the Green Roof Professional (GRP) Education Chair on the Green Roofs for Healthy Cities Board of Directors.

Alan Proffitt, GRP
Alan Proffitt has over 30 years specializing in roofing, including as the Lead Project Manager with Multnomah County, Oregon’s Facilities and Property Management Division. Alan’s long term outlook and attention to detail have been the key to over 60 successful projects starting with the traditional dark art of roofing and evolving to the green art of roofing. Alan helped design and managed the County's first green roof in 2003 on the Multnomah County Headquarters building. Other green roof projects include the first green roof on an historic library, and combination green/solar roof on a new County Courthouse. Alan is a certified Green Roof Professional (GRP) and co-chair of Green Roof for Healthy Cities GRP committee.
